Last year I wanted to buy a couple of bottles of nice wine for my mother's birthday. I discovered then that I could not ship to Connecticut, where she lives, so was unable to do that.

I see now, from the list of states on the Wine Regulations page, that now it's ok to ship wine to Connecticut.

Having grown up in Connecticut, I know that the liquor laws are fairly strict (like you *still* cannot buy any alcohol after 8PM...).

I am really glad that the laws continue to change because wine is such a wonderful gift.
